Early this morning AllDroid has reported that the Motorola Droid X has been rooted by a small team of devs.

No this still doesn’t give us access to the signed bootloader that is needed to flash custom ROMs, but it does give SuperUser (SU) access which is a step in the right direction.

You’ll have to be pretty handy with ADB (Android Debug Bridge) which is the command line client-server program that lets you manage the state of an emulator instance or Android-powered device.
