The latest theme released from Hedone is Skeper. Skeper is for all of you who are searching for a theme that is amusing, funny, different and in the same time functional. It will entertain you with something new and funny every time you look at your Blackberry Smartphone. Initially, I didn’t know that. I got the email while traveling and didn’t have time to read it. So I downloaded, installed, and was cracking up at the build of this theme. It fun and playful, but is in no way non-functional. Hit the jump for the review and a nice video from HedoneDesign.
Why functional? Because in spite all of that, it’s very functional, giving you 10 icons on your home screen – with useful animation (except on Storm 9500 series). The “life savers…” section is your homescreen icons. This section is animated.One swipe with the finger on the screen, trackball, or trackpad and it gives you access to more icons. When you highlight the icon, instead of the usual icon focus of a square or highlighted area, you are greeted with the words..”this one?”. It’s a comical and the slight dark humor is wonderful. For it’s humor and functionality, the Berryfication team gave it a BQC of 9.4.
This is definitely a theme to get you back into the “back to school” mode. Pens, paper, notes, and doodles suite this theme to perfection.
