Karotz now does Facebook – Live the Internet

by Jonathan Yaniv - on Feb 2nd 2012 - No Comments

The Karotz “smart” rabbit is the first-ever hardware device tailor-made especially for Facebook.  It is the third generation of the multipurpose, internet-connected rabbits which first launched in 2005 as Nabaztag, and has since become an Internet icon.  The immensely popular robotic companions transform daily life by providing a link to family, friends and the world.  Karotz is now compatible with Facebook– a wonderful addition to its already extensive range of features.

“We are excited to launch the new Karotz smart rabbit which is compatible with Facebook, to allow people to interact both with their new companion and with their friends wherever they are“, Fabien Bardinet, CEO of Violet. “Following the successful launch of Karotz in the US at CES this year, we are confident that it will also do very well in Europe as Karotz already has a strong fan base of people who like to keep in touch with their friends and family via social networking sites on a daily basis.  The concept behind Karotz is to make communicating with friends and sharing information both an interactive and fun experience.”

Verizon Acknowledges Galaxy Nexus Signal Issue

by Bryan Bellino - on Dec 20th 2011 - 2 Comments

We have been hearing rumblings from some Galaxy Nexus users, at least here in the US on Verizons 4G LTE network, that they seem to have an issue with signal.  While many factors are involved dropped calls and low signal next to fully working Verizon phones are not something the company is used to.  That being said they took it to Twitter to let you folks know they are aware of it and are working on a software fix.  Lets just hope it actually is software and not a hardware issue.

Book A Flight On KLM? Facebook It And Perhaps Join The Mile High Club (Video)

by Jonathan Yaniv - on Dec 18th 2011 - 1 Comment

Gotta give it to the Dutch, they are clever. They want to make flying more fun and perhaps get you laid right on the flight. So instead of booking with that utterly boring travel agent of yours or get those last-minute airplane tickets, KLM is now allowing you to choose your seats via Facebook. This new app they are launching called seatmate will let you see the Facebook profiles of who is sitting next to you, in hopes of getting you laid. Creepy or nice?

Will you take advantage of this? Let us know in the comments.
