OnStar and Verizon Wireless unveiled a second-generation connected research vehicle at the 2012 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES). More information after the break.
Jonathan, Emily and Myself all woke up at the crack of dawn, shuffled through airport security, got a little too close for comfort with a few TSA agents, got to know our fellow passengers quite well, landed in the beautiful Las Vegas, took a short cab ride to our hotels and set up our command centers. Everything we need to make sure you get to see EVERYTHING! Hit the break for the details.

If you are thinking what I am thinking, like “What in the world are you thinking Verizon?”, then we are on the same page. Droid-Life is reporting that Verizon has decided to add an extra $2 per month convenience fee to their customers who pay online or via telephone. The fee is applied when making a payment via the Verizon website, but is waived when a customer enrolls in their automatic bill pay or will use an electronic check. What’s even worse, on top of this Verizon has had some major 4G LTE outages recently, so this really doesn’t do good for customer retention.
So we ask, are you going to be jumping ship because of this fee? Let us know in the comments below.

UPDATE: It appears as if Verizon listened to panicked customers and has decided to not add a $2 fee to some bill transactions. Looks like all the Occupy Verizon protesters will be able to sleep in their own beds tonight.

One of the most important things in our technological world is our cell phone. We take it everywhere with us, even if we know we wont have a signal or even be able to use it, it is always with us. The one thing our phones don’t come with is protection from everything outside of our pocket. That’s where Otterbox comes in. The name alone is known by anyone who isn’t living under a rock. But for those of you who don’t happen to know, Otterbox makes the best phone cases ever.

For my Droid X I chose the Otterbox Impact case. It gives you full protection, including a screen protector, without a bulky case that makes it uncomfortable to use. The Impact case is silicone based, has inner coring for added protection, and access to all buttons and features. Not mention the silicone is very comfortable, as well as, giving you a very adhesive grip. I put this bad boy on my dashboard and took some pretty tight turns, the phone went no where!
This is the best phone case I have ever used. You get complete protection from almost all factors, except water, a very comfortable grip and also its very appealing to the eye. The best part is that for all this protection it is only $19.95. WOW THAT’S A LOW PRICE! Remember that video? Head over to Otterbox now and get yours!
Back in the months waiting for this phone my best friend Jonathan and I would obsess over the rumors of what it was going to be packed with. Everyday we followed sites and twitters talking about details either rumored or confirmed. Then Verizon announced a date, we were so excited. However, that date was shot down hard, mainly because Motorola said you know what, this is the Droid Bionic we want this to be the device everyone wants and needs. Months went by as Motorola completely redesigned the device. Finally the day came when they had stated an official release date. Did the Bionic meet my high standards and expectations? Hit the break to find out.

We have been hearing rumblings from some Galaxy Nexus users, at least here in the US on Verizons 4G LTE network, that they seem to have an issue with signal. While many factors are involved dropped calls and low signal next to fully working Verizon phones are not something the company is used to. That being said they took it to Twitter to let you folks know they are aware of it and are working on a software fix. Lets just hope it actually is software and not a hardware issue.
Yesterday we posted a live Q&A for the Galaxy Nexus which we received yesterday night. I wanted to thank all of you for coming on and really enjoyed it! I plan on doing more live events in the future, so keep a good watch on the site. Now for the actual review of the Galaxy Nexus. After the break.
